The Care Certificate is the recognised induction standard for anyone starting a role in health or social care in England. It sets out the minimum standards that should be covered as part of induction training for new care workers, and is widely used and recognised by NHS trusts, care homes, domiciliary care agencies and private healthcare providers across the UK. Our Care Certificate — Standard 1–16 with Workbook takes learners through every one of the 16 standards, from understanding your role and duty of care through to safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and basic life support. The workbook format allows you to work through each standard at your own pace, building a genuine understanding of what excellent, safe, person-centred care looks like in practice — with your employer signing off your competency for each standard as you progress.
