Overview

About this course

There are millions of adults in the UK who left school without the English and Maths qualifications they needed — not because they were not capable, but because school did not work for them at the time. Functional Skills in Maths & English at Level 2 is the government-recognised equivalent of a GCSE grade 4 (previously grade C) in both subjects. Universities accept it. NHS employers require it. Apprenticeship programmes demand it. What makes this programme different from going back to school is how it is designed. Functional Skills is explicitly built for adult learners — it uses real-world contexts, practical scenarios and adult-relevant content throughout. Everything is delivered online through our learner portal with expert tutor feedback and support throughout. Exam fees for both subjects are included in your programme fee.
